GST Construction is a Division 5 metal subcontractor focusing on Class A structural steel, steel erection and installation, miscellaneous metals, and architectural metals. GST’s specialties include building and structural framing, handrails, guardrails, stairs, trim, signage, and ornamental projects.

1933

The Company First Opens

Our roots can be traced back to 1933 when the company first opened in Fort Worth under the name “Clemens Sheet Metal Works, Inc.”
1956

Second Facility Opens

The company opened a second facility in 1956 under the name “F-M Metal Fabrication, Inc.”
2000

New Ownership

GST acquired these businesses in 2000.
2008

Relocation

Because of rapid growth and expansion, GST relocated to a 122,000 square foot facility on 11 acres in Haltom City, TX.
2012

New Facility Added

GST leased 20,000 additional square feet nearby to accommodate the substantial growth of the business and support inroads into the global marketplace.
2018

Today

GST has grown its capabilities to include laser, water jet, plasma, punching, machining, stamping, powder coating, painting, robotic welding, assembly, on-site installation and design.
